Message Center

Message Center

Your household should have a message center. This doesn't have to be elaborate, it can be magnets on the refrigerator, or a bulleting board on a door. Everyone in the home should be encouraged to use this center to list plans, shopping list, important telephone numbers, and all telephone messages (most imporant).

Keep this area current, throw out those notes that are outdated. Take care of as many of these items as you can each day. Those that you can't get to while you're right then and there, by the message center, should be transferred to your task list notebook - excpet of course when you're going to take the shopping list with you to the store, etc. But don't get caught up in taking the notes with you, instead of transferring them to your task list, because you could end up losing the paper, and then what, you're back to where you started, before you read this information.
