Debit Cards

Debit cards look and feel like credit cards. Don't be misled. If you spend more than you have in your account, it's like writing a bad check. It will cost you a LOT of money (percentage wise) to do so.

You need to update your checkbook each time you use your debit card. If you have only one checkbook between two or more of you, then keep the debit card receipts and give them to the checkbook holder each day to be updated.
