Teardrop Galley Upgrade (2005)

Note: when I installed the interior skin, the lid became much stiffer. This is both a good thing and a bad thing. It's good because it doesn't move around as much, can be supported on just one side, etc. It's bad because I didn't realize how much I was bending the lid to close it... I had to trim the sides to get it to fit again, this meant that the cabinets were now in the way of the lid, so they had to be shortened 1/2". So what started as just skinning the interior became a complet refurbish of the galley. I decided however that I'd make do with plain plywood doors until next year.
