Teardrop Original Build (2004)
Summer 2004 - Built in about 4 months of weekends and evenings. Spent a few months before that researching plans and developing my own plans. Loosely based on "Trailer for Two" design. Added an area for the dog to sleep at the foot of the bed, and an externally accessable storage compartment. Built to be a basic teardrop for three reasons: 1) to get it ready quickly for a family reunion in Santa Cruz, 2) to reduce initial cost, and 3) we weren't sure we'd like camping in a teardrop, might get clostrophobic.
