I just discovered something about spam that might be of interest to you.
I use Netscape mail, but this is probably true for all email programs.
When you create a filter to send spam to the trash, or delete it or whatever, it's almost impossible to do it by email address, or subject or anything, because they can change that stuff.
I had a set of filters set up to handle words in the body, like "FREE", or "ENLARGEMENT", however messages were still getting through.
Then, I discovered, by looking at the message source, that these people have been putting things in between the letters invisibly (there are a few techniques, and we don't need to go into them).
So how can I filter the spam? by the URL...
They ALWAYS want me to go to some page, and they can't have garbage in the URL address, or the internet won't serve the right page, so when creating SPAM filters, use the url they want to send you to as the filter - but just use the part after www and before the first /. (use informatixs.biz instead of http://www.informatixs.biz/bu/123/free.html)
The amount of SPAM that I have to deal with went way down.
If something is still getting through, check the message source for what comes after "href="http://", as it's possible to fake the visible URL as well.
