Roast Potatoes

Oooh Arh! These are wonderful with a roast beef or lamb.

Servings: about 4 (however many you want actually)
Preperation Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 30 to 40 minutes
Difficulty: Easy

Ingredients

  • 4 potatoes (or however many you need to make)
  • Lard (Crisco)

Preperation

  • Heat oven to anything between 300 and 425
  • Peel the potatoes. Cut them in half lengthwise, then cut those in half lengthwise, making lengthwise quarters
  • Grease a baking pan with Crisco
  • Grease the potatoes and put them in the pan
  • Bake until the edges start to turn golden brown (30 to 40 minutes depending on the temperature) - fork or knife of toothpick goes in and out clean
Note: I don't use the same temperature all the time, because it depends on what else is in the oven.

Serve with a roast beef or lamb and gravy!
