Gore Releases Report on His Health
WASHINGTON -- Vice President Al Gore is in "outstanding overall health" despite elevated cholesterol and the 1996 removal of a form of skin cancer, according to a report released on Wednesday by the Democratic presidential candidate. The three-page medical summary was based on a May 7 examination of the vice president performed at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Md. The findings were reviewed by a dozen specialists ranging from a cardiologist to a personal trainer and nutritionist. The vice president's office distributed his records to news organizations five days after his rival for the Democratic presidential nomination, Bill Bradley, was forced to disclose a non-life-threatening irregular heartbeat. My Sardonic Thoughts
- My first reaction to this was, so what? Who cares?
- Then it occurred to me, isn't this guy the Vice President?
- And if the President took a bad turn, then wouldn't he be President?
- How come he didn't publish his health report on May 7 when it was made? Or at least soon after?
- Is there something he wanted to hide? Or have they manipulated the report?
- Now here's a conspiracy theory if ever I heard one... the doctors have doctored the report...
