Homeless man arrested for bricking someone
NEW YORK (Reuters) - Police said on Wednesday they charged a homeless man with brutally bashing a young woman's head with a brick in midtown Manhattan two weeks ago in a crime that sparked Mayor Rudolph Giuliani's controversial crackdown on homeless people sleeping on the streets of New York City. Paris Drake, a 34-year-old ex-con with a record of violence, was charged with attempted murder, assault and criminal possession of a weapon late on Tuesday night for the Nov 16 attack which left Nicole Barrett, 27, originally from Texas, critically injured. My Sardonic Thoughts
- Criminal possession of a weapon? A brick?
- New York has instituted brick control laws?
- Do they have brick turn in programs?
- Do they license bricks now?
- Do you have to have a permit to carry a brick?
- Are the brick makers being sued for creating these horrible weapons?
